My acrylic paintings reflect the fact that I inhabit two worlds: an environmental attorney by day and  an artist by night.

I begin with marks made without conscious thought. Bold colors conjure the ethereal world of dreams and the unconscious mind. Forms emerge in the ether of the paint. I use negative space to transport the viewer into the world within the painting.

My art expresses the tension I feel between the logical and the emotional in my double life. It also captures feelings of unease and isolation in an increasingly digital and fast-paced world. My goal is to create an emotional connection with the viewer and to raise questions about how we honor our emotional and spiritual dimensions.
