My acrylic paintings reflect the fact that I am torn between two worlds: an intellectual property attorney by day, and an artist by night.

I begin with marks made without conscious thought. Bold colors conjure the ethereal world of dreams and the unconscious mind. Plants and animals, as well as human forms, emerge in the ether of the paint. I use negative space to transport the viewer into the world within the painting.

My art expresses the increasing feelings of unease and isolation I feel in an increasingly digital and fast-paced world.
